I had the honor and pleasure of seeing my first live production of Eve Ensler’s Vagina Monologues this afternoon in NYC. For those who are not familiar, it is a series of monologues which feature “the Vagina” and are read by a variety of women who share the stories of 200+ women who Eve Ensler had interviewed about their “vaginas”. The themes include sex, love, orgasm, masturbation, birth, menstruation, rape, incest, violence and the various names we call our “vagina”. Watching the women perform these monologues made me feel so empowered
