Assess your Current Lingerie Wardrobe

When is the last time you went through your lingerie drawers? Lingerie is an essential part of our wardrobe, and as with anything, planning and proper care can increase the longevity of your investment. Taking time to review, replace and develop a lingerie wardrobe can enhance your figure, simplify getting dressed each morning and enable you to look your best.

Lingerie Rite of Passage

For me, lingerie has always been a source of vital nourishment for my soul. It has connected me to my most feminine essence, instantly changed my mood and ultimately led to the celebration of my own body, my sensuality and my self-confidence.

From an early age, I began treating myself to the most decadent and divine lingerie. I intuitively “knew”

One of the pillars of the Lingerie Diet program is Lingerie Education. Lingerie U is about teaching women the basics of what quality lingerie is and why it’s important. We then help women develop an ability to be able choose what’s best for their wardrobe and personal style. That’s what we would call a personal style foundation built with confidence upon which we can continue to develop over time. So as a woman’s style evolves over time, she’ll have the tools to feel in full control of the process which describes the other pillar or what we like to call Lingerie Empowerment. A confident woman’s ability to create her personal style from the inside out and have the sophistication to express that style with educated choices of quality lingerie is a perfect example of what the goal of the program looks like.

Finding the Perfection in GratitudeFinding the Perfection in Gratitude

Finding the Perfection in Gratitude

“At times our own light goes out and is rekindled by a spark from another person. Each of us has cause to think with deep gratitude of those who have lighted the flame within us.” — Albert Schweitzer

Being grateful for what we currently have in our lives can be an incredibly grounding and powerful choice. Especially when our lives get busy and overwhelming, it’s easy to forget about all the abundance that we have right now. So to turn things around and choose gratitude, it takes awareness and practice. When you notice yourself complaining, comparing or coming from a place of scarcity, take a moment to acknowledge it. Then stop it by taking all that energy and shifting into gratitude. Now, I know that it is not as easy as that. But with practice it can be. The first time you choose gratitude may feel uncomfortable, but if you take a few deep breathes and allow yourself to feel good about all that you have, it will eventually shift into appreciation.

Slowing Down for The New Year!Slowing Down for The New Year!

Slowing Down for The New Year!

I’m in Miami Beach for the New Year and one thing I know for sure is that life down here is all about s-l-o-w-i-n-g down! The city has displayed a series for giant bright pink snails around the beach to remind us all to slow down. I thought that was the perfect message to share with The Lingerie Diet. My mission is to teach women to embrace their unique beauty and celebrate their bodies by adorning themselves with beautiful lingerie daily. But this concept is absolutely about slowing down to get back in touch with yourself as a woman. To celebrate your femininity, your journey, your body, your sensuality and everything that you have created in your life.
So this New Year, I invite you all to go deeper into slowing down and to love yourself exactly as you are and where you are in your life!
Thanks so much for being a part of The Lingerie Diet Community and wishing you the Best New Year ever!
Love,
Margaret

Monthly 30 Day Challenge Teleseminars!

I am so excited about our new monthly 30 Day Lingerie Diet teleseminar series. We are launching our next seminar in January 2011 on Sunday, January 9th from 8-9pm EST. It will meet for 4 consecutive weeks on Sunday evenings for one hour. The reason why I created the teleseminar series is to support women as they take on my 30 Day Lingerie Diet Challenge. Each week we will go over the current week and there will also be an opportunity for participants to ask questions and share their experiences on the call. This year, we have had hundreds of women sign up and participate in the 30 Day Lingerie Diet Challenge. One thing we noticed after the initial excitement of signing up for the challenge, women often felt resistance to focusing that much attention and time on themselves. So each month we will have a one hour meeting via teleseminar to connect with me, The Lingerie Goddess and other women who are also taking the challenge.
The teleseminar series is only $99 for 4 weekly phone sessions and as a bonus, we will also be giving our Ebook,

We all know women that have had breast cancer, I’m going to share my dear Auntie Margaret’s battle that ended last year. I was named after my Aunt, for her strength as the powerful matriarch of our family. My Mom was her favorite of 5 brothers and sisters and I guess she wanted me to grow up and be like her older sister. The strange thing about growing up in a half Chinese family, was that there seemed to be a lot of shame attached to being sick. Whenever my Mom or my Aunt got sick, it was down-played and almost kept secret. So down-played that when my Mom passed away from heart failure, I was not allowed to know about it until she died. It took years of therapy to digest that experience and accept her choice to “protect” me from seeing her suffer.

A couple of years ago my Aunt Margaret was diagnosed with breast cancer. I was not told until after she had been through a double mastectomy and chemo. What
