Fashion’s Night Out- Lingerie Events
Fashion’s Night Out is a global initiative created in 2009 in a partnership between American Vogue, the Council of Fashion Designers of America, NYC & Company, and the City of New York to celebrate fashion, restore consumer confidence, boost the industry’s economy, and put the fun back in shopping. It will take place in NYC on Thursday, September 8th, 2011 from 6-11pm.

Without community, I would not be here. Seriously, I have such a huge network of amazing women and men in my life who literally support me on every level. The Lingerie Diet and the Lingerie Goddess were created because I have been encouraged, inspired and urged to go for my dream to to create a business that feels authentic to me and lets me share my gifts to help and serve others.
I want to take a moment to thank my family, my friends, my clients and all the incredible partnerships that have collaborated with me over the years. Thank you for joining me on my journey and for being a huge support to my mission to serve.
E- Essential Self Care
Why is it so much easier to take care of others than it is to claim time to focus on our own self-care? As a mother, wife and friend I am a “rockstar”, always making time for the important people in my life. But to schedule time each day for myself – it takes effort, practice and commitment.
I made a decision this summer to create time off from my routine. In fact, my daughter is in summer camp for the entire month of August-which means time off to focus on ME! I also made a decision to spend time in NYC while my husband is working in our Miami home. Although choosing to take time to spend solo brought up some feelings of guilt and fear…it has been the best choice for me and helped me to fully commit to my self care.
I – intend to love yourself now
INTENTION~ can be a powerful way to create clarity around your desires. By stating your intention, you can begin to move towards the direction of your goals. So, the I in the word diet, stands for “intend to love yourself now.” That’s right, nothing like embracing your beautiful self as you are in the present moment.
Self-love takes awareness, compassion, desire and intention. Self-love does not happen just because you want it. It takes practice, like anything worthwhile and patience for those moments when you are feeling the opposite. Begin by stating your own intention to go deeper in your own self-love. World Femininity Day 6/24/2011
Friday June 24th, 2011 NYC-World Femininity Day takes place in Washington Square Park 3-7pm
Fun, Fabulous and Unabashedly Feminine – New York Hosts First World Femininity Day
Under the motto “Feel Feminine – Feel Fabulous!” teams in 12 countries are creating events to celebrate all things feminine. New York kicks off the project with a fun daytime event in Washington Square Park. Between 3pm and 7pm on Friday, June 24, women, men and children are invited to “Dress up and Play” as iconic women and pose for a Goddess Picture. Volunteers will also be handing out information and interviewing people on what femininity means for them and a film crew will document the project for British television broadcaster BBC.
